LaDonna Toliver
Oakland, California

Within a year of opening the first Wingstop in the Bay Area, Emon and Ladonna Toliver had the highest grossing restaurant in the system. With no prior restaurant experience – they had run not-for-profit community organizations – they chose Wingstop over other restaurant franchises because of its great food and great concept. "Customers report coming to us from as far as San Francisco and San Jose for the best wings they’ve ever tasted," LaDonna says.

Rod Stokes
Miami, Florida.

After a 12-year career in the United States Army, Rod Stokes was ready to strike out on his own as an entrepreneur. He chose Wingstop because of its focused menu and quality products, and opened the second location in South Florida. Rod credits Wingstop’s outstanding training and support with his success, saying they set each franchisee up to succeed. Ultimately, however, Rod says it all comes down to the product, which he calls "clearly superior to our competitors."
